FREE SKILL

Turn your YouTube videos into Instagram long-form.

A free skill that cuts every subscribe, link in the description and end screen ask out of your YouTube video, and keeps everything else. Pop your email in and I'll take you straight to the repo.

Phone is optional. By adding it you agree Orgrowth may call or text you about this; message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out any time.

You'll also receive my content strategy newsletter with more free breakdowns.

Step-by-Step Guide

Get tube-to-gram

Open the repo

Everything is in one public GitHub repo: the skill and the script that transcribes your video, finds every YouTube ask, cuts it and checks the result.

Open the repo on GitHub→

Install it

Paste these into your terminal: the skill, the two free tools it uses, and the speech model (about 490 MB, once).

git clone https://github.com/orgrowth/tube-to-gram ~/.claude/skills/tube-to-gram

brew install ffmpeg whisper-cpp

mkdir -p ~/.cache/whisper-cpp && curl -L -o ~/.cache/whisper-cpp/ggml-small.en.bin https://huggingface.co/ggerganov/whisper.cpp/resolve/main/ggml-small.en.bin

Everything runs on your own Mac; your video is never uploaded anywhere.

Run it

Start a new Claude Code session and say "make my YouTube video ready for Instagram long form" with the path to your MP4. It shows you every cut and every seam before it renders, then hands you the finished video and a report of what it cut, what it kept and why.
